Thanks guys, I suppose here's an update with my spriting progress on the character:
I called the game "Father's Day: The Game", because I'm that creative.

Wel that certainly looks interesting. Nice quality on the sprites. And Nox, I never had the patience to catch the loach so good for you.

It looks cool. I've never really been able to get that micro-shaded technique that gives texture-y sprites like that.. I guess it's just not my style! It still looks nice though.
