I don't quite understand your statement.

Are you saying that you're making a mod on Cave Story in Chinese? Or are you making a mod based on the Chinese version of Cave Story?Cause I don't think I've ever come accross a Chinese version of Cave Story before.

And btw, if you are basing your mod on the Chinese version, why don't you just base it on the english one? Does the Chinese one have a differeing storyline? o.o

The story is the same
but I have to replace all the scripts/dialogues with English ones

perhaps using copy and paste
or start it all over with an English version (before I've gone too far)

I don't think you'd have to redo all the levels. Just the scripts, and possibly anything that involves hacking into the executable (if there is text stored in the exe).

Me too! Although my Chinese reading sucks. I'd have to get my parents to read most of the dialogue for me.
