Tonight, it was announced that bin Laden was killed in Pakistanian compound. The U.S. launched a small attack force on his location, and succeeded in killing him during the firefight. It's all over the news right now.

Don't blame the entire US because our previous president was too thick skulled to set up a priority for Bin Laden's assassination, like Obama accomplished in a fucking month.

That's why I just say "Osama is dead. Woohoo." And move on. Then again, I'm just not into politics or any of that government mumbo jumbo.

Hearing all this "OBAMA IS BETTER THAN BUSH, NUH UH IT WAS THE ARMY, YEAH WELL OBAMA BLAH BLAH BLAH. OBAMA OSAMA LOL" stuff gives me a headache.

Eh. Not like I can control it. Not like I really care about this stuff anyway

I'm just gonna make an argument of a bit different nature...

Considering that there's a lot of evidence saying that Bin Laden's been dead for 9 years and the tapes since then have been (badly) faked...

It seems more likely that the people in power in the US (notice, I didn't necessarily say only the government) need a piece of big news... And this is certainly big.

Which makes me worry what they're doing that's so big that they have to distract us with the "death" of their main excuse to be in the middle east.

EDIT: Depending on how bad I get flamed for this, I may need somebody to scatter my ashes someplace nice. I nominate whoever it is who next posts in the custom MyChars thread.
