ORGestrate is a third party ORG player / library. Its fully open sourced. (Public Domain in fact)

Platforms known to work:
- Microsoft Windows NT/XP/2K/Vista should all be working fine
- Linux 2.6 (Notice: You need to copy the libraries for your architecture into /usr/lib or /usr/lib64 depending on if you run 32-bit or 64-bit)

Its pretty basic, it may only be interesting to those who are developing ORG composers and want to have playback but can't do it from scratch. I personally would like to integrate ORG playback into a few different Media Players. Yet to do that.

Anyways, I'm back, from a VERY busy week or two... Or maybe a few I didn't keep track. And I have a new ORGestrate release, this one will play White.org MUCH MUCH better. The pitch has been adjusted too.

Version 0.3.0
- Added volume controller
- Created base XML file, preparing for metadata support in the next release.
- Added support for note modifiers, the REAL use for 0 length notes. (Fixes White.Org, Hell.Org, And very many others.)
Version 0.2.0
- Added useless GUI
- Too many issues with new ORG behavior, release skipped.
Version 0.1.1
- Fixed FMOD::System problems with Windows version
- Fixed bug which caused serious problems in sequences where their were blank spots between notes

Download (Mirror 1, 2shared)

New release includes some of Garde's resequences BTW, But only so many of them have been confirmed (and so many more I need to find the original authors of) so I seriously need to get in contact and figure this out.

Notice: The GUI is now in, but you still must drag files onto the executable, or on Linux, add the filename as first parameter, to play your ORG files, because there is no open file dialog, YET.

I'm very interested in this library of yours, I hope you'll finish it and maybe I will code something that uses it :)

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Heyhey, MP3 recordings are different from the original tracks, so you're completely justified in this. ;P
Really, I've been kinda frustrated with how different some of them sound.
... and that there's no bloody White* mp3! I have to use OrgView whenever I want to listen to it. =(
edit:
*King's Theme, as most know it. White.org is the filename I have, so that's what I call it by habit, xP

New release. This one sounds a lot better, but somethings still up with percussion... I need to do a thorough check of the code that talks to FMOD.

Google translates the Japanese name to White somethingorother (Wouldn't be surprised if its full name was "white light" or something), so White is most likely the proper translation and "King's theme" the name to go with the whole "Theme" trend.

Planning to add it to the website?
I was, but it keeps asking for various missing files when I try to run it.

Try running it and find out. But the first file it asks for is SDL_image.dll

Okay, in that case you probably need to install SDL for it to work.

It may be downloaded on this site.

The source code for ORGestrate.

Download the link for ORGestrate and look in the "source" folder.

And more importantly does anyone else get these missing file messages or is it just me?

But isn't it already compiled?

In any case, to compile it you would need a compiler, such as gcc. I'm not sure whether that one works on Windows, though. If it's written in C#, you need Microsoft Visual Studio to compile it. If it's written in C or C++, you can just find a free Windows compiler. The only one I know of, which is also an IDE, is Dev C++.
