In the case of Wikia, not typically. From what I've seen, most founders usually don't have too much experience in editing. But of course, there are exceptions.

Bombchu, maybe you want to read the Help files / poke around Community Central so that you do gather up expertise in helping to run the wiki better?

We should figure out notability guidelines for listing mods, and maybe make a wiki page on notability.

Any ideas for what kind of guidelines we should have?

Don't lie

Present it in a neutral fashion

Don't praise it directly, just state facts

Also we should get a template to fill out.

No be/helping verbs, 3rd person only. Those are great for anilistic papers and stuff, so I think they should apply here as well.

Any thoughts regarding the notability of mods though? I don't think that it's worth listing every mod that was ever created.

I'm thinking about completed mods or mods that have something in it that makes it stand out, or has been a big thing in modding history(like the original jenka's nightmare)

I think we should list all cs mods but all that are just cave story with some insignificant change should be on one page

I agree with Goerge, we should list all mods (well it's a mod data base so duh) but only if someone is willing to create the page and follow the guidelines

I would recommend holding off on trying to compile a mod database, wink wink nudge nudge

Should we hold off on compiling a mod database because you're working on one, and if so, will you include Japanese mods?

Am I allowed to create an article biased AGAINST a project if it's my own project? 'Cause I put Curly's Adventure(!) in a slightly negative light.

you can put how the community reacted to it, and you can put a trivia saying that "the author regrets this project"
