I just put DOSBox on my computer last night and I was wondering if anyone knew any good shareware or freeware games. I put many of the classics such as Duke Nukem I, II, and 3D, Commander Keen, and Wolfenstein 3D, and I feel that my DOS library needs a bit more.

Umm...
I think Morrowind is a MS DOS, but I can't be certain.

You're thinking of Arena/Daggerfall.

I also suggest Tyrian 2000 :mahin:

If you want good DOS games, look here:

Please check though if the game is actually released as freeware, but as far as I know they only host legal stuff.

I think these are all dos box :
  • Ultima VII : The Black Gate/Serpent Isle and Ultima VIII : Pagan ... 5 star fantasy RPG games [still better than most blockbuster RPGs today], but getting it to run perfectly on dosbox is tough; I tried it once and had to adjust the cycles for different parts of the game, and probably some dosbox commands to get it working.
  • What else...
  • Masters of Magic ... fantasy strategy game, 4/5 strategy game; great game
  • Crusader : No Remorse / No Regret ... isometric futuristic action games, 4/5; awesome stuff
  • X-Com : UFO Defense , X-Com : Terror from the Deep ... futuristic strategy game; 5/5 if you have any love for fighting aliens
  • Wing Commander 1 - 4 and Privateer ... 5/5 for dos space flight sims; awesome story
  • The Secret of Monkey Island ... 4/5 pirate adventure game; har har
  • Jazz Jackrabbit ... 3/5 fun side scrolling action
  • Traffic Department 2192 / Solar Winds 1,2 / Grand Theft Auto ... 4/5 top down driving games
  • 3DEMON ... 4/5 ancient 3d pac man; scary!
  • Digger ... 3/5 ancient dig dug arcade game, kinda fun
  • Paratrooper ... 3/5 ancient tower defense literally game
  • Star Trek ? ... 4/5 ancient game I've NEVER been able to find, but I used to love (probably unrelated to the Star Trek series)
  • Syndicate ... 4/5 action real-time strategy game; they are making a new one for PS3?
  • Raptor : Call of Shadows ... 3/5 another 3DRealms game, this time an arcade shooter
  • Lemmings ... 3/5 annoying but lovable puzzle game; nice music :p
  • Ultima Underworld ... 4/5 first person fantasy dungeon crawler, more rpg than rush and kill
That should be more than enough for now D:
I don't know if you can get most of them for free or what now... They should all be nearly 0 cost though.

I suggest The Incredible Machine, it's an awesome old puzzle game.

Also if you want some cheap laughs, someone made these terrible DN3D mods called "Quest for Bin Laden" and "Quest for Hussein," complete with cheesey AMERICA FUCK YEAH one-liners.

Deluxe Ski Jump 2, of course if you like ski jumping. It is really fun in multiplayer mode. Otherwise it can be a little boring. It was extremely popular in Poland because of Adam Małysz.

It is not guaranteed that you will like it(especially if you are not a fan of ski jumping), but i just had to tell about this game, for me it is a classic.
