MP3 of "White"

I noticed that White wasn't included in the official soundtrack that came with the deluxe package, so I made an mp3 recording of it. It's the one in the game, since orgmaker doesn't have the right instrument to play the 5th drum instrument.

That reminds me I need to extract that drum to replace it in the WAV hack since it uses ORGmaker drums and the CS version sounds way cooler.

 

Ahh, it sure feels good listening to White again. Makes me forget about the pain I'm enduring right now.

Well at the very least then someone needs to update the soundtrack that's included in the deluxe download thing.

Either way I only really needed the mp3 of White.

Speaking of the beta music, I had wanted to say something about Ice Fortress' title... but I think that discussion is in the Show off Org music thread.

Edit: nope, flow of conversation moved on.

Throw the title in Japanese into Google Translate and it comes out "Bastion of the Cold"... Obvs. a translator is rarely accurate, but I had thought cold here would invoke ice rather than wind. I'm probably completely off, though.

 

speaking of Beta music, does anyone have them in org form?

It's called "kaze no toride", which basically means "stronghold of the wind" or "wind fortress". Kaze is in hiragana though, so it can actually mean either ice or wind (if it was in kanji, we wouldn't have this uncertainty). But it makes much more sense for it to be wind, since there was never any ice in cave story and windfortress is more fitting.

Also wind fortress and balcony have nearly the EXACT SAME chord structure, so it is likely that this song would have been used for the balcony, which might have been a level in itself (like hell).

Don't think it would be that hard to rip the ORG's from the beta ORG player, dunno though
