I'm sure that if any kind of story was written about post-crash Mimiga Island, Curly would live, and Quote would have to go find her in the ruins of the island. And, of course, there's the whole "Iron Bond" thing (omg spoilers!), so OBVIOUSLY they can't be separated, and Curly would live. Ballos would too, since he's a big, evil bad guy, and they'd have to fight him in a crumbled and shattered Seal Chamber, unless he escaped and they have to chase him around the ruins/through the forest/into a city.
