yeah i needed a avatar the looked good

so i grabbed a whole bunch of 100x100 avatars for full metal panic

Do one of Chidori wacking Sousuke over the head with that fan of hers that happens after sousuke does something like (eg.) blowing up his own locker in case someone planted bombs in there.

the funny thing is there is one with the fan on his head and one i have that was animated, its in my photobucket ill get it XD

The thing is, Pixel drew the character faces and the ending scenes in a Manga style. So probably Cave Story plays out as a Manga/Anime in his mind as well.

In trying to tick off as few people as possible, I'm going to try and have the character's made as close as possible to the art Pixel drew himself. That way it doesn't "[ruin] your personal image of characters". Also I like how he drew them.

But you can't have the whole thing drawn chibi-style.

 

It's not really chibi style. It's just simply drawn. I might change the style of drawing a little bit, that and the artist has their own flexibility.

 

The one in the middle is the original file.
The one on the left has two frames of the animation removed, notice how it is out of time with the others.
The one on the right has a reduction in the number of colours used.

both the left and right ones are at a file size where they can be used for an avatar.

Looks like whack a mole, except it's whack a sousuke. :D

You already can, look at this:

Avatars


To use an avatar, go into your User CP ---> User Options ---> Change Avatar. Here you may pick a new avatar or change your current avatar.

Avatar file size maximum is 30KB and dimensions cannot exceed that of 100 X 100 pixels. While we do like animated avatars, the only problem we have with them is when they move too fast and loop constantly. These are very annoying and distracting to look at when reading posts, so if you choose to use an animated avatar make sure it has some pauses in between or slow down the frame rate.

The same levels of restriction are placed on Profile Images.

Permission to upload custom avatars and profile images is given to members who have had at least 10 counting posts and have been registered for 7 days.

1. Excited irritation? It looks like those evil asian raffi eyes or crosses for eyes, shouldn't it be more like this: =D

2. but you forgot the apostrophe in we're. I like the doctor's expression the best.

 

Good news! I have a kinda sorta free weekend, so I can finally work on the script.

Although now I sleep.

 

I consider XD to be more of a laughing smiley, or, effectively, a more extreme version of =D. This can also be applied to other smilies for things such as XP and X3.
