I'm sorry, I have to post this. This is in a scene near the end of the script.

Cut to: Kazuma, sitting on the overhang outside the egg corridor. The island begins to quake slightly, and Kazuma looks up.
Kazuma: Hey, the island's falling.
Truth sets in.
Kazuma: Oh crap, the island's falling!
Kazuma jumps to his feet, and clamors onto the back of the sky dragon.
Kazuma: Okay, dragon, time to fly!
Kazuma looks at the sky dragon, who looks back blankly.
Kazuma: C'mon! Fly! Up up and away!
The dragon continues to stare blankly.
Kazuma: Hey, don't look at me like that.
Dragon cocks it's head.
Kazuma: YOU'RE A SKY DRAGON! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO FLY!!
Dragon ignores him. Kazuma hangs his head.
Kazuma: I'm so screwed...

Exactly what -kind- of movie are we thinking here? Anime? Universal Picture? Hollywood motion picture? Somehow, I don't think I'd want to watch -any- video game character cosplayed by a physical person. Several 'personal cosplays' I've seen (Go look about deviantart) are horrible.

In all honesty, I don't think I'd want to see such a film. Think about it. Recall Harry Potter? The novels were great, the movies ruined your personal image of characters, and it's pretty hard to re-create those images in your head.

I suppose an Anime movie could prove watchable; It's the only way you could make the 'enemies' flow with everything else...

And even if you -do- get 100,000 signatures on the petition; Who's going to animate it? Who's going to film it? No money = No movie.

How I think the final battle against Ballos should end:
Ballos is occupied with Misery and Balrog, Balrog is trying to take down Ballos' rock shield with his missiles while misery is matching ballos' lightning attacks with her own, Quote gets up and starts running to where the action is taking place, Ballos increases the force of his attack and overwealms Balrog and Misery leaving them too weak to fight, Quote increases his onground speed with booster 2.0, and right at the moment that ballos turns around to look in Quote's direction he is run through with the Blade (this side of him was left unguarded because he focused his defences on the side that misery and balrog were on, leaving the opposite side vulnerable), the levitating rock's forming his shield start to crash to the ground.

Actually some people liked that movie and others hated it, I actually liked it, it didn't follow the games too well but that would be the reason why people hate it, it is a good movie if you give it a chance and stop comparing it to the games.

But yeah, cave story will look best as an anime.
