I'm pretty sure "lazy" is one of the words that are always supposed to retain the "z" in all kinds of English.

At least I spell "colour" in normal text and "color" in HTML.
Why does the US have to be different in spelling, measurements (the only country to still use imperial measurement as a standard) and date formatting (they use mm/dd/yyyy instead of dd/mm/yyyy)? It gets waaaay too confusing on the net, especially that date thing.

You can say that again. Examiners in my country chop grades off if you spell "colour" as "color", but also if you spell "initialise" as "initialise". Darn US English pissed me off so much that I once wrote "Note: The examiner is requested to refer to a dictionary for spell-checking":eek:.
