Secrets of Mana Theater is one of my favorites. I'll have to read all of these later.

The core fight? Hmm...
-Quote gets blasted by core's projectiles.
-Quote nearly drowns
-Curly fires a barrage of bullets at core
-Quote manages to get in a shot or two
-Rinse and repeat

You don't want a fight to be repetitive, especially with the whole Quote drowning thing, too much drama, it only needs to happen once. I'll try to figure out this battle since I am good at visualising fight scenes in my head.

Hm. *Idea*

Why not just keep repeating it, for about 10 times. Then Quote suddenly goes, "I have a feeling of impending doom...", and the narrator goes, "It took him that long to notice?". AND SHAZAM! You guys kill me for the horrible idea.

Fun Fact - By saying "Shot", it means you got shot, therefore, you are the one who died.

Fight with core, the big entrance:
Curly gets hit by the explosion the robot, then Quote runs over to help her as you see the large form of the core rise in the background, during this the camera moves away from Quote and focuses on core rising out of the water for 2 seconds then moves back to the original camera angle focusing on quote, while core is still rising from below something finally clicks and Quote freezes, then he slowly looks around till he can see Core and then core opens it's eye...

Also, the Core should have a weak spot (It's very centre) that has to be hit. It should take a while for Q&CB to figure this out, though. And it should be Curly who finally finishes him off.

Weak spot = eyes. That's it in the game, at least. And as Quote begins to drown the screen blurs out just as he sees the blurred shape of curly over him placing the air tank on him...

Should I incorporate the tow rope, or should Quote just carry Curly?

NOTE: I will be gone all weekend at a camp. Just and FYI.

Yeah. While it is in the game only as an added criteria for reaching Hell, you need something to help hold on to her when the water level is super high as in the waterways.

Just an idea - why not have Quote kiss Curly scene in the cabin? That's the best romance scene that occurs to me. Maybe a kiss of life?

Remember, brothers-in-arms relationship.

Hey, unfair! Maybe after the memory loss they became romantically linked to each other. There's a LOTin the game to be interpreted best as a Q/CB for a movie. Then again, the Quote/Chaco scene is supposed to beat 'emm all.:D

Wow. I expected more posts from you people. Not sure if that's good or bad. ;)

Keep in mind that somewhere I have to add in the whole "robots with emotions" deal. Not sure how that will work out either.

Kiss in the cabin? Probably not, If there is any romance it will be really subtle, it's mostly "brothers-in-arms".

1. Sorry, I was watching Stargate all weekend. :D

2. Brace is a genius.

3. Told you guys. :D
Actually, I remembered from waaay back in this thread when Atravir mentioned the whole "brothers-in-arms" thing. The "brothers-in-arms" relationship is during the first movie, if it is going to become anything more than that then it would have to be the sequel that does it.

Speaking of the sequel...
While writing the other day, I realized that I have no Idea what to do with the Mimigas in the Sequel from where they are now, or for that matter, what to do with the Sakamotos. More thinking to do...

EDIT: I made this for German Class, it's a drawing of J.S. Bach.
