I might just obliterate the petition and put up a poll somewhere, one that only allows one vote per IP address. That way it would be mildly accurate.

Kidding. No, not yet. It's extremely tedious to write a novelization of something, since it greatly limits one's boundaries. It's even more tedious to write a novelization of a game since there's no straightforward plot to go by, and even more tedious to write a novelization of a game in the form of a script because it not only must fit within a specified time limit, but also it almost completely binds the writer to one specific plot line, as so to please the most fans. The only thing I really get to write are the descriptions, and a few minor plot adaptations. So I'm going somewhat slow at it. And having FF7 doesn't help.

As a note, marching band ends the second week of November, so after that I will have free time out the wazoo. And that means more writing.

I have noticed that most anime start off as manga, maybe that could work with the movie, if anything it will at least give a support boost and work as something extra to show the production companies.

Yeah, I highly doubt that f-ram is going to have it done before mid-2008 if at all, personally I think that f-ram's manga is not going to happen. Dropping off the face of the planet for 3 months, and his lack of progress beforehand does not suggest any future progress.

That's the thing, you don't know what happens to them in RL, it could be anything from a lack of interest to forum assassins.
