• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

It's awesome, if we go indie.

The problem still resides that I'm under 18, and can't legally sign a contract, and thus I can't really do anything if a producer accepts the script.

I think it would be perfect for the movie but what does indie mean?

Are there any ways around this like someone signing it in your place because 2½ years would be a long time to wait.

Indie stands for independent (aka: making it in flash myself). I might be able to convince my parents to sign something, but I doubt it'll fly.

And I'm 15, by the way. Yes, the fate of Cave Story: The Movie rests in the hands of a fifteen year old. We're all doomed. :D

1. 15½, the ½ counts for something.

3. I am 21 years of age, turning 22 years on the 26th day of this month (September).

4. It gives you the idea of what it should look like, the one for the movie should look similar but better.

That actually doesn't surprise me. People born in the 80's have a much better appreciation of retro games.

So whenever I have to sign a contract, I'll send it to Australia and have andwhyisit sign it. Sure, right...

Note: Response to "Can you sign stuff for my script?" from parents:

I'm sure you can fill in the words.

2. What if the company is in Australia? There is a bit more to the world than America.

3. How could your parents find something wrong with you wanting to make a movie?

it has to be someplace I can get to. So yeah, it'd have to be in the same country as me.

It's not the movie making part, it's the signing of contracts part.

Lol, i expected Atravir to be 25 at least. Guess I'm not the only teenage guy round here.
Didn't you notice the last time Atravir said he was under 18.

Lets hope we can work something out to solve this problem, does anyone here live in America and happen to be over 18?

We still haven't solved the cave lighting issue.
Yamashita Farm, Grasstown, and Plantation all need sunlight to grow stuff.
We can have a crystal/glass/whatever network that reflects light from the WHAT THE HELL spot into wherever the crystal network may emerge (walls, ceilings, etc.), this should be more concentrated in Mimiga Village, Grasstown, and Plantation, and not show up at all in Last or First Cave or certain rooms that looked dark in the game like the jail, where you enter the labyrinth, where you fight the island core (both times), etc.

The crystal thing sounds cool, but the light thing will probably stay one of those things that is just conveniently there, and isn't really explained.
