An idea is to use the entire environment in a boss fight rather than restricting it to a single room.
Also use the surroundings in a boss fight, make it that you can use/destroy your surroundings, because a collapsed tunnel can damage just as easily as the spur.

 

Question will he have nemisis or blade at the end or both

also he can use the spur or blade to shoot down spikes from the roof

and grab the spears or swords off the flying butes and kill them with it
that would look cool as

note: some sorta matrix feel would make the fighting awesome even though it will be a bit unoriginal

 

A fast-paced chaotic battle over a large area would look cool. But don't do the slow motion thing that matrix does, will not work.

Have it that Quote and Curly can each use two weapons at once, one for each hand.

well then dual swords from butes

What if Quote used the sword for close range and as a shield, and the spur for long range, that would be an interesting combination.

cut arrows up as their fired at him and he can hop on them stab the bute then jump to another.

the spur should be able to bend also like a little be when its fired if he moves his hand a bit to a direction

I don't think so. I got to entering the Castle, and am not sure if it's the end.
Couple of glitches in LoD for Atravir to note:
1. The guy you meet at the pub says "Kayla" even if you change the name.

2. I dunno when this comes into effect, but I finished the first quest (of the necklace) the guards of the castle sent me to do and when I returned I found the same guy at the bar. The game flags to the earlier event and you have to get past the guards again.

3. Similar to 2, even if you finished the feather quest, if you go in the dark forest thingy (where the necklace was) you find the tree monster back and you get the necklace AGAIN and the cutscene follows.

Personal opinion here but I think that wouldn't work visually, and it would be best not to move away from pixels game for the sake of it.

Why should the spur look like a prehistoric bird.

1. She's a little old lady. She doesn't go far from her house unless need be. that and if you remember, she doesn't have the heart to kill Ballos. she'd probably sit this one out.

Wouldn't she try to SAVE Ballos, he is her brother after all.

Erm, we CAN'T make a 2d 8-bit low res anime series dude. If changing a bit of the game's visual physics is bad, then presenting an old-school sprite as anime definitely is. Just an idea though, since i found it in one of the artworks mentioned in the first page of this thread.

I don't think so. Jenka "didn't have the heart to kill her own brother," which clearly implies that she didn't want Ballos to die, but viewed it as her responsibilty towards the people, one she couldn't fulfil.

I am just saying that it is rather obvious that the spur shot is a large solid beam but I never said anything about putting 8-bit graphics in a movie, why would you think I meant that? You wouldn't make the fireball shoot ice cubes would you?

There are a lot of glitches, especially with the guards. Thanks though, I didn;t know some of those existed.
The game isn't over yet, go get your shadow elixir and give it to the creepy old guy. Then the fun begins...

We were referring to having one weapon for each hand, that means using two SEPARATE weapons for two SEPARATE tasks at once. Quote has two hands for a reason ya know.
