With Runelancer, Shmitz and Osmose you would be pushing your luck but I agree that we should put cookie in.

Nah, Shmitz and Osmose should be minor characters and Runelancer the major boss, because everyone in this forum should know Runelancer.

If there is any backstory in this mod then I think that Slife should be the one to tell it. Also DB should be a scientist, I should pop up everywhere for comedy effect and give out special items for reaching secret areas, XristosX should be the leader of the forum assassins, Kageryushin as an anti-hero who helps but serves his own interests, etc. Come on guys help me out here.

Eh I'm gonna use a non real life sprite of Metalogz (I don't say "me" because it isn't me!). Just for your information jcys810 sprited it for me cause I suck at spriting. =/

heres one i made dont use it i just wanted to post it (im gonna make a better one in photoshop) just it will look sorta like that and i will make the different emotes

I thinque we should first set up a story. If not that, we should at least know what kind of person we are supposed to be in the mod. More than anything else, we need to know who's in-charge and of what. Slife and XC might do well with the story, but the character designing is also important - it must be done before guys spend decades with the facesets and in the end, the character they're supposed to be making has a totally different personality. Unless, of course, everyone agrees to use the facemaker, which seems a good idea.

I wonder what kind of story would everyone want? Would it be stand-alone or related to Cave Story? A parody of stuff going on in the fourms, or a story which happens to involve the fourm members?

Who would the main character be? A new person joining the fourms? Quote? A ninja? A critter?

 

I'd like to be in, even if I'm just a basic enemy.

Or the Cthulu sprite. =3 I can get a sheet and pic up soon.

EDIT: Ha HA! It was about 2 minutes and I got both the sheet and face done. The face took more time than the sheet, mainly because I did a little editing in Paint.

The first two were already made. Any comments on the face?

Nah, I prefer it in it's original size so that I can resize it and still have a sharp image.
