Minecraft!

Hey guys,

I was wondering, since the community server thread is dead, I would give this one a shot.
Who here plays Minecraft? If so, do you have a server of your own/one that you frequent?

After reading through the community server thread, I was slightly depressed by the fact that the server
is no longer online, so I figured that I should make a thread to attempt to get everyone together again,
unless of course there is already another one up.

disregarding the fact that this is apparently an elementary school playground now, I think most people here are pretty burned out on minecraft. Some people only want to play modded servers that completely change the game, and some people only want to do vanilla, some people are just bored of it, etc. etc.

I could always run one but it does take me a bit of work to set up if you want me to install some mods (even basic ones like MultiWorld and SimpleChestKey, if that even exists anymore), so I'd like to know people are going to actually use it before I bother.

 

If we made a minecraft server I would come over sometimes (I guess). Not sure about anyone else. Mods would be pretty cool but those take time to find and/or install. Either way I would come over from time to time, so you have one guy's interest.

I'd be down for another Tekkit server if anyone else would be interested, it's gotten some nice updates since we last had the server running.

Tekkit sounds nice. it's confusing as shit, but i'll work through that C:

 

I love Tekkit. <3 If it were not for my computer being a general piece of crap, I'd suggest FTB Ultimate.

 

We should all build a Giant Cave Story Themed Map in minecraft!

Meh... Haven't played it in months... And I didn't even know this community used to have a server...


... I would perhaps play on it here and there... But then that would be just another distraction...

Well, if I can get the money together.....I could possibly buy a VPS just for everyone here and host a server on it....

Maybe I should make my TF2 Server The Official CSTSF Server
With approval, of course

 

Well, if anyone really wants this to happen, who would donate to the server, should it be actually started up??

 

Wasn't it just that noxid just hosted it on his own site or something last time
I'm not sure if he'd be doing that again but I doubt we'd pay for a server host just for a few people to play for a while.
