You've clearly never tried redneck mining. it involves diging a 1x1 hole for a while, and a shit load of TNT.

Haha, that's the best method, but doesn't TNT destroy ore?

Challenge accepted.
I'm still smoothing out wrinkles, and I haven't attempted to get a dedicated server running, but I can run one. I'll post more details about it tomorrow.

Oh dear god, the Japanese have discovered Minecraft. Prepare for an influx of epicness and also some of the weirdest stuff you've ever seen.

Don't you need to buy Minecraft to play it online?

Hah, wow. I think that's even better than the guy who made a replica of the Enterprise.

@wr you need to buy it for surival mode online, but I think creative mode can be played for free.

I love you Fab

I ended up buying Minecraft with Xmas money and survival is holyfuck addictive.
Except I'm a slut with my worlds and start new ones every few days before I even really make anything, please tell me I'm not the only one who does this?

I do that once I walk around for a bit without finding a super-cool spot for my super-cool base (Bat-cave, floating island, cactus-maze). But you have to commit, man, or you'll never get into the really cool stuff *cough*Nether*cough*.

Minecraft is like the weed of video games.
You can stop whenever you want, but you don't wanna, man.

Man... I haven't expanded on my mine in a while... but boy do I want to now!
Last time I played I was workin on a stone coliseum to test my skills in battle. Sucks that you can't move spawn points.

You actually can move your spawn point, but you have to use an application.
I forget the name, but you should be able to google it just fine.

How to move your spawn point:
1. Find the place you want to move it to.
2. Unplug your computer.
3. ???
4. Profit!

No seriously, I was playing Minecraft when the power to my house went out. Next time I loaded the world up, my spawn point had shifted and my surroundings were greener. No other effects! It's a sure-fire plan.

Oops, I meant enemy spawners, in dungeons. But yes, player spawn points too... or I should have built my coliseum around my spawn point.

Well you could find anything, but nothing particularly special happens just for wandering far from the start point.
