Ma Pignon?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but have been addicted to Cave Story for several weeks now. *g* I've played through something like 8 times now on hard mode, attempting to get to hell, but I can't seem to get the graveyard mushroom to fight me! As far as I know, I've done everything in sequence (i.e. tow rope, draining Curly and talking to her and Cthulhu in the plantation), but after I get the mushroom badge, all the little goof will say is "Bzzzzt." I'd love any advice or tips on this!

Did you look at the badge in your inventory?

"The mushroom badge you got from the
mushroom. It has no real use. To be
honest, you don't really need it..."

Maybe you should question Ma Pigneon about such a thing?

Use the "mushroom badge" from your inventory screen and talk to Ma Pignon, he will then fight you.

EDIT: Aw... ZTaimat got to answer first. :D

I am a fan of pokemon (the game, not the series) but please don't use the word "Pikachu" around me, I am very sick of hearing about pikachu, there are other pokemon.

I personally like Pikachu better than all the human characters. Pokemon was a good series till the end of the league, but 279 episodes of the same fuxin thing sux totally.

Thats why I don't like the show as much, if you replaced ash with a person that didn't have the words "this is how to fail as a pokemon trainer" plastered on his forehead, had team rocket as a once every 5 episodes thing, added more variety to the episodes and kept all the other main characters the same you would have had a good series. Instead they dragged on with the same material to hold out till the next game was released where they continue use the same characters and add what should have been the main characters in for an occasional appearance.
