Livestreams

Instead of posting that a livestream is going on randomly throughout the forums, I thought it might be worth making a centralized topic for those who are interested in watching or making them.

Livestream has a free service that allows users to broadcast video live, assuming you meet the basic requirements. You can check out their site >here<.
(To chat in a livestream you have to create a free account unfortunately...)

But anyway, I think it's just a fun tool. Fun to share.

I suppose I'll break in this thread with a livestream of Mega Man 5!

I'm fairly good at this game, so I'll try to make it as interesting as possible. This should only last around an hour. If there are any issues with the stream (video / audio quality, framerate) please let me know, I tested it thoroughly just a minute ago and I think I found the best balance. I'll start the stream up in about five minutes from this post, so let's have some fun!

Welp, I went ahead and did it.

Made a Livestream account and currently streaming some runs of Spelunky. I say runs because I know I won't last long.

Edit: Did 2 recordings. Three attempts at the Golden City, failed spectacularly on all three. Then we did some Spelunky: Breakdown on Max. Tried going gold too - failed spectacularly. Thanks to all who came, specially Gir.

Edit 2: Doing more since X-Calibar missed the first batch. Might end soon, though.

In 2 hours, 3:00 PM Pacific DST, I'm going to be streaming Ragnarok Battle Offline, a brawler based on the godawful popular MMORPG, Ragnarok Online. I will not be playing Spelunky even once, sorry. At least you'll get to see a rather unique and obscure game.
I'll be talking over the game, so if you want to hear the beautiful sound design, you can fuck off and download it yourself. (That is a Pirate Bay torrent. RBO is completely free, but very difficult to find.)

Gonna do another late night stream of the Jump Challenge.

Going to stream some more. Work on getting an even better score.

 

Going to be playing Runner 2, but also showcasing the Good Friends' DLC, starting from (personal) least-known, to most well-known characters. Starting with Josef! Link in the signature, as always.

Edit: We beat the first boss with the help of everyone's favorite Android, and unlocked a vault thanks to everyone's favorite Spelunker. Also we made friends with a strange Pickleman and REVERSE CHINFISH. I'd say it was a good stream. Thanks to all who watched!

Doing a play through of Cave Story+ on my first twitch stream
If anybody wants to recommend me a game to play, feel free.
I start at 1 ADT, but look up time zone conversions if you do not live in Nova Scotia, Pei or New Brunswick Canada.

EDIT: Having major problems with lag, so I am post phoning the Stream till next tuesday, so I can have time to update my hardware, fix my lag, get software updates, drain some junk in the trunk, etc. Sorry about that D:

EDIT: Deciding to just record from the wii port of Cave Story, but ordered the cables for it today, so I will post the new time and date when ready. In the mean while, I will play some minecraft starting friday and every friday since at 2:00 pm adt

 

Continuing on the Runner 2 Stream, though, things have changed:

While Commander Video and his Good Friends have been becoming Dancing Fools, a lone Android notices that time is running out for him to escape the Mad Mad World. He dashes forth across the world, hoping for a chance at returning home. Run Mr. Traveler, for great justice!
