Let's make one big story

I was looking and looking and looking through the forums and I saw some story ideas and mods but why don't we all get together and type one big story with everybody. Just submit ideas and let's make one big collaboration story.

 

That sounds way too good for it to happen if we all pitch in. Let's do it.

 

Awesome! I have an idea where there was somebody behind the making of the crown named "father" and perhaps ballos was the first crown holder so that's why he was locked away by jenka. Maybe he cursed balrog and misery because they were ingrates... any other ideas welcome.

I don't think this is gonna happen too easily.
I'd rather just make a mod with everyone's ideas.

 

I've always had this idea after the ending Barlog goes to get some firewood but is taken in by villagers of that island on top of a cold mountain where he befriends a crow and they set off on an adventure. But if you are going to make a mod together, it'll be very hard, it's better to do it by yourself or with just one friend that is willing to help. But yes, these are all some great ideas!

I like it. Why is he getting firewood though? Is it on the floating island or not?
About modding maybe when we have a complete story we can make a mod for it.

Well, would it be legal then if we were to make our own parts to the big story, and then one person ties them all in a final part mod?

 

Lol, I was just joking. Not sure what gave Bombchu the idea that contributing maps and tiles to a mod is against the rules. That would be plain silly. There's nothing wrong with what Bobmchu was offering to do or what you just proposed.

I mean the mod itself is great, but when people start using it in the place of something actually canon, it's just stupid.

 

I have an idea:

We have all the surviving characters join together, 3 years after the events of Cave Story, and they have a party/reunion to celebrate the achievements of the robotic duo and remember the horrific events that could have been prevented if we just decided to hug each other instead of killing each other...





...And then they just explode and die.
