I got some mild traffic from my Cave Story soundtrack here last time so I figured its worth putting it here for at least a few dozen people who might be willing to give it a listen.

Looking around the person's account brought me to their YouTube and it's nothing but just AI stuff!

 

honestly i dont even think OP cares about us rightfully riffing off of their dumb shit. they're probably mostly like "hoo boy! people are talking about my AI slop! time to destroy more rainforests " because, as we all know, all publicity is good publicity in the eyes of "content farmers"

i do have to ask them, though. Hey, OP! How's it feel to have made absolute garbage? LMMS and (the windows version of) KiraStudio are free... With a bit of actual effort, you can make some original stuff with these tools... Granted, users of AI don't like putting in effort... or have the creativity to do anything but make slop... Pick up a pencil. Pick up a DAW. Please.

i disagree, not on the merit that this is good, since it isnt,
but i don't think ai use is inherently with negative intentions,
i think theres an idea from a specific type of ai user, that
it's the undeniable future, and a fascination that comes with trying to get ai to be as good as something a human could make

Complains about any lack of quality of their slop or just make fun of them, don't help a lot, they don't cares about quality at all, just this eternal bullshit of "be better and better" it will just make them keep improving it more and more, these ai bros don't have any understanding of what make art so fascinating, important, valuable, call whatever you want, they works based in a consumer's logic, today it sucks but tomorrow will be """perfect""", ai "creators" should be mocked because they use ai in first place not because "is slop" it just encourages them

Yeah, a lot of people that use AI sometimes call themselves "Prompt Engineers" which is crazy because of the lack of work that goes into make something with AI. AI in my opinion, will never be "perfect" because it lacks anything that truly makes art, art.

 

Most of the responses in this thread (and a number of other places) are mainly just reminding me that we never needed AI in the first place to act vacant and unoriginal tbh

I'm hardly in approval of it myself but if you're going to make a point then make it instead of repeating the same ping ponging that already went nowhere the last time

 

why is ai getting so many use? just support human work
