Yeah, I meant to put that in my post. 30 days to expire is a good place to start, could go up to 3 months without going to overboard.

why did you give me an infraction i shouldn't have gotten this infraction you're a horrible staff member who is horrible at their job = whining.

...what? I'm curious to see what one looks like at the very least.

Seriously though, on a smaller niche fan forum, just stick with PM warnings and bans. If the number of users were significantly larger and more drama ensued, obviously a different system might be needed, but forums of this size tend to do just fine with mod-operated warnings and the occasional tactical ip-ban nuke.
