How many times have you beaten Cave Story?

The first time I beat Cave Story, I'll admit I cheated to get through Sanctuary (yeah, I already knew about all the Sanctuary requirements beforehand - that's what you get for reading the TVTropes page before you play the game), and I cheated to refill my health between the Misery-Doctor-Undead Core set of bosses.

I then played through it again without cheating, but I didn't get through Sanctuary.

And I'm currently playing through the game in the WiiWare version. I'm still trying to conquer Sanctuary without cheating. I can get to 1st form Ballos with full health and a life pot, but I'm always pretty low on health by the time I get to the 3rd form.

about 5 times on normal ending, once on bad ending, and currently working on best ending.

Do you mean you beat hell that many times or played it that many times?

Well, if I remember clearly, I once got the bad ending, and three times for normal ending. For Sacred Ground... *check video* almost countless times.

Sacred Ground is fun!

Bad Ending: 1 because I wanted to know what will happen :p

Good Ending: 1, after that a friend told me that you can save Curly^^

Best Ending: more then 40 times, with different characters and different weapons (its rly a good training to get better if you beat the game over and over again^^)


Trough Hell: well I didnt rly counted that but I think around 400 times or more

And I'm not counting saving before Misery of Sacred Grounds, I mean a full play through.
