(description copied from the readme file because i'm lazy)
Haunted House Story - Reinforced
CSE2 Remake
version 0.1 - 16.02.2026
Redgon Hash, a young adventurer, finds himself on a quest to find the mysterious treasure of an abandoned haunted house. Will he succeed? What dark secrets does the house contain?

Being a little limited by assembly and working with the freeware version, I've finally decided to cave in and attempt remaking the mod in the CSE2 engine. C++ is being fairly friendly to me and while porting is a somewhat tedious task, it's going at a steady pace and I still get a chance to improve upon already existing concepts as I progressively recreate all the features of the original game in the new engine. Unfortunately, this means new content will still have to wait, but with enough time and effort I should be able to make this version a direct improvement and then possibly finish the entire project.

Download link (remake project)
if you want to play the freeware version with all the content up to date you can download this instead. it will take me a while until i port everything to the new engine so if you're really starved for content you can play this i guess
Download link (freeware 0.8)
if you want a fix for lategame zombie enemy projectiles and a single crash + a couple typo corrections you can also grab this and do a manual upgrade. the instructions are inside the zip
a couple patches (0.81 i guess)
