Not only the health bars.
It uses costum dll's.

I think the creator of the Hack game tried to simulate (not emulate) Cave story in coding and style. He haven't took Cave Story Engine and started to modify/hack it so we shouldn't call it a mod but rather a new game which have the style of Cave story.

Hmm I higly doubt that, since if it would be made with flash there would be more than just a windows version

 

Even I used Cave Story assets as placeholders.
The Cave Story-ness started in late 2006.

 

How do I get it into fullscreen? It just errors out on me when I try to fullscreen, making it hard to see where doors are.
