Ehh... what's wrong with asking for a broken link to be fixed?
I mean, if you've found an old mod that you've never tried before, wouldn't you be interested enough to try it out? I know I would :3 If the link's broken, someone with the latest version of the mod could upload on the creator's part :/
If you keep letting all 'dead' mods R.I.P, then it defeats the purpose of the existence of the mods, 'cause in the end, no one would ever be able to play them again ._.
And I think Ryuu took your point too srsly...

You know, we need some sort of storage area so that we can have a (hopefully) permanent database with all the mods, info on how to hack Cave Story, and any music made.
