Did you get to the Storage room? If so, check the pot in the middle of the room.

I haven't played the demo yet, and as such haven't seen the layout of the Storage room, but here's a tip.
If you want the player to examine something that would normally be glanced over, such as a bookcase, a block in a wall, or, in this case, a pot, in order to advance the plot, try having sparkles on the prop or next to it, and have the sparkles be the trigger for the event.
(You don't necessarily have to do this, but it would be a good idea to do this if the trigger is unclear)

 

If this is short as the first one, think about merging all of the games together in one if you make a series. It would be greatly appreciated
