Funny April fools joke I played on unsuspecting Youtubers

I'm not gonna try to trick you guys, becase 1, we all know there's not a fourth ending to Cave Story, 2, we all definitely know
there's not a fourth ending in Cave Story+, and 3, we know that all of the supposed extra content in Cave Story in that video is my mod. With that out of the way, I posted some of the content of my mod in the form of an April fools joke on Youtube to try and hoodwink people into thinking that it's actually an ending in Cave Story.

April fools! Oh, and if you watch the video, you MIGHT be able to figure out why I changed my avatar and signature to match that of windsofwinds for a very short amount of time.

 

But did you know there's a FOURTH ENDING??

I guess that doesn't matter too much though, does it? That was a really convincing video, good job. Hopefully it will get a spike of popularity some time in the future.

Hmm... LOL! I never really thought about it, but now that you compare them side by side, they do seem very similar in that respect. I also find it funny that even though you're significantly older than me, my voice is still deeper XD. Anyway, um. Even though I watched both of your video tutorials numerous times before making this video, and they were the most recent voice over videos I had seen before making this one which was my first time doing a voice over video of this length, easily enabling you to rub off on me, and your video tutorials actually crossed my mind several times throughout recording my voice in this video, I uh, *swallow* I can assure you that that was a complete and utter coincidence.

 

I actually feel gulliable enough to try it. I'd better try out that mod instead.

 

I don't mean to be all nit-picky, but you should have put a semicolon after 1.

 

nicalis blog actualy does say that it has four endings.

 

Whoa! Really? I was just making up the whole, blog saying it had four endings thing when I made this video. I didn't know that their blog ACTUALLY said that! What a coincidence! You know what... Since they actually said that on their blog, maybe we're actually wrong about there not being a fourth ending in Cave Story+.

I think they count the "Mr. Little in your pocket in ballos' chamber" as another ending. Or maybe the "You still have the mimiga mask at the final bosses" as an ending.

The latter even has a different set of credits images.

Haha, thanks. Just because April Fools is over doesn't mean comments aren't still welcome. I enjoy receiving feedback on something that I put work into, even if it was completed some time ago. As long as the most recent post on this thread doesn't date back to two months ago or longer, anyone who wants to say what they think is welcome to.

 

The reactions, are pretty awesome and that version of my game and I actually use that mod as my default game.

And people still comment on it because it's awesome.

 

Am I the only one that finds it rather hypocritical that one person make a mod with several fetch quests that are a bit more... intensive than the original and then later comments on another thread saying that he is annoyed the most at the fetch quests in the original game?
Just sayin'.

Also this thread doesn't really need to go on because April Fool's was a fucking month ago and this video has pretty much lost its novelty to some people.
