Five Nights at Freddy's

My favourite thing about the entirety of FNAF 3 is:
-1 negative review
-"Game won't stop crashing in night 3 help"
-Nobody gets joke

Welp fnaf is over now everyone go home.

 

These games get lazier by the minute. The third game is just a chaotic mess of things happening and unlike the first game it just spams random jumpscares in your face, sometimes in quick succession. It's all pure chance too, your chance of success is all about not getting errors at the wrong moment. Am i missing something here? The fans insist that the games keep on getting better, but i must've missed something.

It might just be me but i don't really care about the "lore" or the scary purple atari man or whatever. Explaining why the robots are violent took out a lot of the mystery behind them and now they don't look that uncanny valley anymore and just aim for plain scary, making them a lot more bland. They aren't frightening anymore, just really derpy wierdos who scream in your face now and then.

The series had promise, i'll give it that.

As for the excess of jumpscares, from what I can tell they're almost all easily avoidable. I'm pretty sure it's designed to punish you if you start panicking; the more you react to the scares, the more scares you get. Also, most errors come from getting a jumpscare; it's not pure chance.

I personally can't agree with you saying that they just keep getting lazier. The second game got its fear factor from just adding more animatronics, which didn't work at all. In this one, the guy at least tried to use suspense as a way to make the scares more powerful.

One Hat is not equal to one new game. If anything, it's thought that the hat means it's over, rather than it's on.

Don't hate on happiness. People bring their ideas about the game forward due to how they like the feeling of it. Scott Cawthon, on his website at the bottom, has always said to be respectful of the community. You can choose to not like what the community is putting out personally, but I encourage you not to openly criticize the community for bring this game out in their own light.

If you were saying not to shut out the community just because of what the minority was doing that'd make sense, but your logic is the same as saying "oh don't hate on hentai artists just because most of them make porn; some of them make slightly better porn"

While I am aware that the community is not all terrible i'm talking about the majority of the community that is terrible. Which is to sadly say very large.
Overall I could make a large list of all the bad things the bad side of the community does. But i'll just leave it at they are all massive babies. They literally will whine and cry about everything.

So if every pizza from a pizza company that I eat tastes like shit and gives me diarreah, but one I have is quite okay and doesn't make me sick, does that mean I can't criticise the pizza company for making so many bad pizzas?

 

Most of the people in the fandom are just on the hype train or introduced by whatever scarecam lp on youtube, so of course the majority of them are going to be awful awful people as with any big thing. But the moment the next scarecam goldmine appears they'll all move on. The same thing happened with Slender, and FnaF will eventually follow.
