I didn't download the Beta tracks and Various Remixes.

Are there Various Remixes from the Remix Project disc 1 and 2 as well?
They may not be Remix Project songs (or they could be, I dunno ;)) but there is some awesome remixes and covers of Cave Story Music.

The only track I really enjoy is Grass Stains.

I like how it stayed mostly to the original instead of branching off into it's own song or extending parts etc etc...

All the songs are great as their own but as actual remixes of cave story music not so much...at least to me. I honestly couldn't tell what some of the songs were trying to remix at first.

That's why I recommended the other remixes since they follow the original songs more closely, the remix project tries to remix multiple original tracks together for each song. Remix Project is still worth listening to, if you listen closely you can hear the cave story music used in each song, or look at the page to find out.

Cave Story Theme Song was very poorly remixed though.

Agreed 100%

It didn't even have the solo part at the end :/ my favorite part of that whole song.

Decision was a great song, and would have been even better if it wasn't so short.

Balrawg isn't the greatest because the huzzah in the song doesn't capture balrog at all and is offputting but otherwise is a good song, Shachinobu's was better though.

Ball of Ballos is a great song.

Never Die starts off brilliantly but true to its name it drags on a bit towards the end, still an awesome song.

If you don't mind downloading the tracks one at a time then use this link:

At least tell me why you can't download the files.

Hey, you cpied the "my versin thingy"! Guess we're squae now :D.
I honestly enjoyed Remix project more, since very few of the non-project ones can create that brilliance that pixel did. I loved HimlyArranged's one though.

One option is to download, install and run Flashget
http://down6.flashget.com/flashget196en.exe
and click on New and you will see a box for a URL, this is where you can paste a URL in and press ok and it will add a download to the list. Before you start go to Tools>Options>Connection and uncheck "Stop download at over 99 tries but no data received" and make sure that "Always retry" is checked and press ok, now go and right click on a link to a track (if it is a direct link) and click on either "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" then click on new in Flashget, paste the URL and click ok. Repeat this for all the individual tracks and leave them all to download.

Though these tracks won't have the proper ID3 tags apart from remix project, so I'll also re-upload the files in sendspace or if you want it uploaded somewhere else I can do that too, how's that? :p

EDIT: I'll reupload as one big file and stick around as a maintainer maybe.

EDIT2: Uploading now (It's 268.77MB btw, so it will take a while)
