I consider it just a port of Bubsy 1. I didn't play the genesis version either...
but, I could play it instead of claws encounters.

but it added a RADICAL NEW INTRO and CUTSCENES and made bubsy's voice EVEN COOLER!
it also changed the graphics and music a lot
the genesis one is just the same with worse music
thus you have to play super bubsy eventually

the world needs this

as an aside, does anyone know about recovering corrupt mp4 files? I can get some data about it from ffprobe but ffmpeg craps out when I try to transcode it. My computer crashed during the first half of the stream and I didnt uh, save it any other way.

but in all seriousness it was fun and made me want to play Bubsy and tear out my ears and make a Bubsy game/cave story mod and I haven't even made a cave story mod before

Anyway, I only caught the tail end of the stream. :/

Sometimes it was a little hard to hear you? Maybe better mics? Not a big deal though.
And never got to see the players themselves. There was Noxid of course, and the other player was ... Amy...?

Oh and I never understood what was going on in that 2 player mode for Bubsy 3d... It switches you back and forth randomly and fixes the camera?
Besides the messy room, everything was good !

I actually have a handful of 3D printed bubsy trash but I didn't think to bring it out..
And yeah, rest of the stuff is noted. But I don't think it will be so easy to get me to put my irl face on camera though.
