As many as I damn well want, ofcourse! Keeping promises is why the next version of Crowned witch isn't out, and why Sonic is in Brawl, bumping the release to Feb 10.

I'm simply posting screenshots of progress, as I make it... next on my agenda is making a 'forest' background, and finishing up enemies for a forest...

Critter -> Jelly (Green)
Pigneon -> Bush
Bat -> Still a bat >>
Gravekeeper -> Goblin of sorts
Big Pigneon -> larger bush >>

Oh yes, and stop going off on your own little topics... *shakes fist*

If you want to keep the forums busy, you should take your discussion elsewhere instead of hogging someone else's topic. Its inconsiderate. Minor offtopic is alright, but going extravangantly offtopic, is like saying, "I have no life, therefore, I shall go offtopic on forums with my other lifeless friends!". And yeah, I have no life either, but I don't go around forums going extravagantly offtopic.

Make sure to make the enemies a little harder than they originally were, because their original stats were awfully pathetic to say the least.

1 post seemed to become ~2 pages quite... quickly.

Anyhow, I've thought out the course of the game in chapter form, there'll be 10 chapters in all, some short, others very long. (I'm aiming for the mod to be around original-game length, given I don't trash it too)

1st post for chapter progress, and new characters.

Unsure what to do about the frog's shading, or if I should have it. I suppose you can work on...

Bat > Proper shading, prehaps a look update?
Balrog > some form of tree golem. Might be hard to do, balrog being wider than tall, I suppose I could leave that 1st mini-boss out, for now.

Wow they look beautiful! :p

Balrog as a tree golem? Aww... :(

Erm the bush looks cute too lol. But the grass tiles below the grass are too squarish. It doesn't blend in that well with the theme. O.o You should remove the outline for each tile.

I'll probably need a tileset to work with or should I wait until the demo is released and do it then?

Alrighty, here's the deal guys, I'm just about done Chapter 1. I should be done it by the end of the day, or possibly tomorrow. I also have an idea for a 'hard mode' game switch:

- You can turn it on at the start of the game (Possibly given that you've beaten the game already ;P)

- You'd start with 1 HP rather than 5, and get only +1 every life-up rather than +5. ('cause I'm evil) (And I'll need your help with this, SP)

- Spike traps will appear, bringing death around every corner.

Anyhow, gtg for now, expect chapter 1 soon.

The life capsules are pretty simple, you'll just want every capsule check for the hard mode flag. Here's an example:

Yes, I =KNOW= that. I'm the god of Cavestory TSC scripting. I need help with setting it so you initially start the game with 1HP rather than 3HP; Shining Phantom has done so in his mod.

(Besides, you forgot to run music in that little script chunk ;P)

Use the early version of KAH.

Well, poop. Due to the death of a reletive, and havign to goto the Funeral, etc. I'll be busy doing that, and unable to work on finishing up the mod's chapter. I guess the demo release is back to 'when it's done' again.
