This is going to be my first mod ever. I got some help from ShInInG PhAnToM, seeing as he did let me use his mimiga character as a base.

Overall Estimated Completion - 5%

I'll post more up later/tomorrow/eventually/when I care, I have basically zilch knowledge in hacking, so I might need some help. But I want to do everything myself, so I can learn how to basically do a mod.

Demo 0.2 - 1st April 2008

Thanks. I'm having some trouble editing the starting part, to edit the script, do I use NPC.ini or TSC? Or both?

Use both. You need NPC.ini to edit the sprite and TSC to edit the game >.>

Hehe i'll be paying real close attention to this thread. I also wanna learn the arts of hacking and editing and producing a mod! ^^ Good luck! :p

Hehe np. Thats almost all that I know... Actually, thats more than I know. I only know how to use TSC Notations to edit the game using Sue's Workshop... Which is really limited. All i can do is edit maps and events using the preset events available... T.T

Better than me, all I know how to do is to change the starting point and the character sprites.

Once I figure out how to NOT kill my EXE, because everytime I try to Run it through Sue's Workshop, my EXE dies. And S.P starts calling me a murderer again. >=O

I revived the EXE this time, then soon after, I killed it again. *Facepalm* Now I restarted all my hacking. Fooled around in Miza for awhile. then when I try to open my game in Sue's Workshop, they say that it can't load my tilesets. o.o

Yeah i'm having the same problem with Sue messing up my .exe file. I suggest you keep a backup.

You too? Oh well. I don't really need a backup since all I did was change the title screen's background color, edited some sprites (Which I have hosted on the internetz) and a couple of failed scriptings. Maybe I'll try Miza instead. :/

Edit - Are there any Miza tutorials out there?

I use the original Sue's Workshop. I guess the hacked version of Sue's Workshop is messing it up. But the thing is, even thought mine's not hacked, it still messes up my .exe file...

Btw, I'm using Window's Vista. Maybe you gotta open Sue's Workshop as an administrator. Right click on the shortcut and click "Run as Administrator". That should do the trick...

I hope :D

I use the hacked one. I downloaded it from the "Beginner's Help" topic in the Hacking sub-section.

Edit - Metalogz, I ain't searching for C++. Miza is just another editor like Sue's Workshop, but it has less functions.
