E3 2013 - Thoughts?

Now that I think of it, I derped. Final Fantasy 7 has the same Fantasy/Reality aesthetic.

What I mean is that Final Fantasy 15 was in development since 2006 when it was named FF verses 13

 

Nintendogs: Pokemon edition looks pretty great, if anything will make me buy a 3DS it's that.

Anyways, Destiny is really the only other thing that caught my eye. Growing up with Macs, I've been following Bungie since Destiny (despite not really getting into Halo), so I trust them to not put out a piece of crap. The game looks like a massive, open worlds Borderlands MMO with an actual sense of exploration that BL never had, it looks exactly right up my alley.

Also, I love the Nintendogs-style thing they're adding to Pokemon X/Y. Always kinda wanted to do that, petting pokemon in the game and feeding them and such. Adds a lot more depth to seeing what it's like to actually be a pokemon trainer.

Ok, that's the funniest shit I've seen all week. I deliberately avoided the Microsoft conference this year because they tend to have pretty much nothing to really show, or do something incredibly awkward. After seeing that video, I'm going to continue this tradition pretty much forever.

Well, I knew about FF15 since '08 or '09, so I knew about it for a fair while(also, I wanna play FF7 8'( )

He's talking about a feature they added in Pokemon X/Y where you can pet and feed and play with your Pokemon. It's not a new game or anything like that.

Ugh...come on, Microsoft, really? I'm sorry, I'm just...I am literally AMAZED at how terrible they've become as a company.

But the PCs they were using had better specs and better hardware installed in them than the Xbox one, so it's not even representative of what the game will run like on the new console.

Game companies have been doing this kind of thing regularly in the past.

 

Nintendo was cool
Sony was pretty interesting
And the Xbox one is a threat to humanity.

I think I'll stay a pc gamer
