It's supposed to do that. The purpose of the mod was to startle people with the sudden jumpscare, and then crash.
Dreams of Reality 2 has a ton more content than this one, though.

 

I like how everybody just like, comments "It crashes" without reading any other comment...
Like ever.
(And then I play it and still scream and run... XD)
