still my biggest fuel for her emotions towards quote was that i get the feel she holds back on Quote(which was even more empowered due the fact She is the first boss i no scratched(first time was the second battle i had against her which really surprised me)
I don't think Misery has a crush on Quote... but, she probably wants him to succeed. She doesn't *want* to fight Quote; she doesn't want to be controlled and kill people for the Demon Crown owner...
When Quote takes on BAllos and WINS. Misery is probably greatful beyond words. She sends Balrog to save you after all...
On a sidenote :
I wonder if Misery lost her magic power when Ballos was defeated?
Did the Seal Chamber block her teleport into the chamber?
Maybe Misery inherits her power through bloodline? Maybe she was born without strong magic power like Jenka and Ballos...
If so... maybe, the Demon Crown was a shortcut to gaining magic.
Cause' thinking about it, what did Ballos have that Misery did not? First thing that comes to mind is incredible magic power.
So the most obvious answer is that she wanted some of that power too.
If her name was always Misery; why such a name? Perhaps because she is a great witch's daughter, that was born with barely any magic power...
Alternative to tapping into Ballos' power...?
Control over the island? A Crown is a symbol of a ruler. So,... it would stand to reason; that she wanted control of the island (destroyed kingdom?) so that she could start her own...
Another alternative :
Control over something else... "Demon Crown".
Control "demons?"
For instance how the Crown let's the ruler control those possessed by the "Demon Flower". (Frenzied Mimigas).
...
well I've gotten off topic!
Anyways, Misery probably just feels indebted to Quote. A crush though? I don't see it... In fact I don't recall any fan art of Qu-
... wait nevermind... there was one... ><
