Does everybody (ingame) hate Kanpachi?

from what I have noticed throughout the whole game, Kanpachi really doesn't care about anything (other than the farming, which he doesn't like), he just wants to fish, though at the plantation, he doesn't catch anything but the teleporter key, the poor guy...

I like the rapier idea, some fools came after him, and he pulled a King (slashing at balrog in the sand warehouse, 1 hit ownage) and poofed em, (lol) then unfolded the rapier back into a fishing pole, without a care in the world.

Maybe his issue is the bait.

Doesn't that sound like Kanpachi though? He will do what you want, so long as he can fish. Imagine if there wasn't anywhere to fish in the plantation. Deathdealer Kanpachi on the loose.
