Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Well looks as though the wish is going to be made permanent now. Good a time as any though to bring up, should the Discord server(s) be mentioned a little more clearly somewhere? The main forum ones are down in Modding Discussion and the one on the site only appears to link to the Reddit group. Has this been much of an issue at any point?

IMO there should be links to the major discords (and maybe discords for specific fan ports or translations or whatever) in several places, but depending on how many are included it could get a bit cramped.
It'd basically just mean a new 'Community Discords' section on the site realistically

Thank you Noxid for introducing me to discord years ago through this thread. Despite the app itself going downhill due to capitalism and shi, I've actually had a mostly positive experience with the people and communities I've found through it.
As for the app going downhill, I wish more open source, user friendly solutions like Telegram were popular with the hobbyist communities I want to hang out with and not just like, war propagandist child predators sharing gore vids.
I've gotten mad in the past when people made that same observation because I believe in being the change you want in the world, but unfortunately it takes two or more to tango with something like this, and I don't got anyone to talk to on there so I guess I shouldn't be a hypocrite.
