the 9 people in the game are in a small town with a town hall and 9 houses, 1 for each player.

I was going with he who smelt it, brutally murdered it. This "Someguy" hasn't said anything as the blame slowly went to you either. He could be ignorant of the accusation, or be the killer himself! Or maybe the spy even! There's quite alot of variables in this game isn't there?

 

There are five people who haven't spoken up. At least one of them might be the spy or assassin, and they don't want to make it obvious of their status.
There might be the officer hiding back and watching the whole shebang as well, although he might also be stirring up the crowd to find the criminal.

So, we need to decide on two defendants? Not to be pushy (just moving the game along), but I suggest Jersey. He seems to me to be the most suspicious so far.
