Please don't tell me you're mainly just mad about how (almost) comically overhyped Undertale currently is at the moment. Look; I've read your discussion about how you don't really get the appeal of the game, and I respect your opinion, but this is exactly what I literally warned everyone not to do on the very first post of this entire thread.

Also, it's really not my fault that this thread became as derailed as it did either; I was just trying to prove a simple and very valid point; the fact that Undertale is indeed a very strong spiritual successor to Cave Story and JUST MIGHT even be a better game overall. There is no need for everyone to get butthurt over it, okay? Sheesh, just give me a break already

Cave Story is not good because it's been around for a long time.

There's no evidence to consider it a monument of indie gaming.

That's literally like saying there's no evidence to consider Ocarina Of Time a monument of Nintendo gaming for Christ's sake.
