Cave Story, the movie?

Is there anyone else here that thinks it would be really cool if a Cave Story movie was made? Because I think Hollywood is skipping over some massive gold right here.

I just hope they don't crap it up like most other robot movies...

 

I always thought it would be better off as an anime. But either way, it's very unlikely to happen. All we can do is hope and pray...

If you have a career in filming, and you're upset that there isn't a Cave Story movie, you can always start ASAP before M. Night Shyamalan, James Cameron, or Quentin Tarantino beat you to it.

 

I wouldn't mind a "movie", so to speak, if said "movie" was actually a "really well done long-ish animation covering the events of CaveStory". Preferably by some internet animator out of the woodworks, since I don't think any studio could do it justice.

I'm pretty sure he would've meant like a 4-koma manga instead.

Well, I didn't know a Zelda one might be made. That's pretty cool.

But Cave Story still isn't exactly the most popular game on the Eshop. If somebody has made a petition (Which I'm sure exists) a bunch of people could sign it, but I still have doubts that would work.

Anyway I don't even see why people would want a Cave Story movie in the first place? Movies are totally lame and ones adapted from video games/cartoons/etc range from sub-par to abortion (*cough*the last airbender*cough*). Why aren't more people asking about an anime or graphic novel? Or here's a very original idea, why aren't we asking him why he isn't in the next SUPER SMASH BROS XDDD lol taco
