"Cave Story: The Core" Unfinished Flash

Well, a long while back, I visited this forum with the question of where Curly's Air Tank would be worn on the body in order to make progress on a Flash animation I was making. I just lost motivation to finish.

The movie was for a Flash contest where you had to make a horror film out of a scene from a video game. I chose the memorable part of Cave Story at the core of the labyrinth.

I haven't been here in a while, and I'm just assuming from the names of the forum's sections and subsections that this is the proper place to post this. Sorry if it turns out to be the wrong place

 

That was pretty good.
If you can, you should finish it. The fight scene would have been awesome!

 

Oh man, that is such a big shame you didn't decide to finish this...! You don't see a lot of Cave Story Flash animations around these parts, especially ones that are made professionally as this! (any way for us to convince you to finish this up?)

There aren't many "scary" places in Cave Story, but any of the parts involving the Core would easily qualify. Kudos for capturing at least part of the moment in your own way!

And as for location? I think that this could fit in the FanArt thread better than it being alone here.

Dude, this is looking damn fantastic!

I love the blocking for the animation, though the graphic quality isn't overwhelming for quote and curly, the rest is really, really well done as far as the effects go.

I only wish that I had some experience in flash, I'd definitely hop on to help, if i did...

Seconded! that was beautiful, It captured the feeling of that part of the game perfectly, too bad you never finished it, that would been even more amazing

Wait, I read this, but I forgot to mention that it was awsome!

In general, the effects were amazing... and the ambient mood you produced from this was cool. I love how you interprited the scene: although it isn't scary per se - you gave it a very creepy feel.

Overall, it was great, and I think that you should finish it.
