Because, along with the rest of my 5-step plan, it would help this thread reach a definite winner. But, step 2 cannot work without step 1. And step 3 cannot work without step 2, and so on.

I'll tell you step 2. We put a moratorium on reviving. Permanently. Any characters who die after the moratorium can still be revived, but not those before it.
