i don't see why anyone who hasn't already played cave story would be playing a fan-made harder version of cave story.

You have no idea how much this made me laugh.

Just make it an infinite loop, so if they select no, another message displays like WROOOOOOOOOOONG and then goes back to the option.

Sorry, I wasn't on my computer yesterday, so I missed a day of modding, but I guess i don't have to take out the cutscenes either... So whatever...

Jesus christ, I thought I was working when I started making this... Lol, but then I see Zelda 3C, and I mean, DUDE, talk about hard work, those guys are probably working twice as hard as anyone at nintendo...!

A) there's an edit button, it's recommended that you use that instead of doubleposting.

B) no, because Nintendo coded the entire game from scratch. nothing, excepting editing the game so much it's not the same game anymore, is as hard.

Have you seen Hyrule Magic? I tried it out one day, and I have no idea how anybody gets ANYTHING done with that program. For one, I imagine Nintendo's in-house editing software was far easier to deal with. For two, they also had a larger team of people to work with and distribute the workload. On some levels, yeah, it's easier since you don't have to worry too much about the actual engine, but as far as designing the game goes, Zelda3C has a much steeper hill to climb.

Yeah... So... Yeah.

Back on topic, I am changing the name to Cave Story ~ Large Levels, since I am modifying almost all of the levels and all of the one I'm modifying are becoming bigger, so just thought I'd post that.

Ya know. if you would take another hour studying TSC, you could probably put in a few new maps. Just something to keep things fresh.
