Cave Story flash?!

Well, anyway, my idea would have been something like one of the boss fights. Maybe the fight against Monster X? He always fries first-time players, I think it's be a little nostalgic for experienced players, and actiony for the rest of the crowd.

And why not start with the classics of Balrog?

It starts off with Quote bringing a puppy to Jenka, and she's like "I have four more, go get them sonny" and then we have a montage of Quote finding all the puppies and carrying them around. He's actually having a god time with them, because everyone likes puppies. Then, when he brings back the last one, he finds Jenka on the ground, Balrog standing there and all the puppies are gone. Balrog leaves. Quote is horrified, runs over to Jenka's prone from and cries, "WHERE DID THE PUPPIES GO?!?"
Admit it, that's the first thing you noticed after Balrog.
Maybe at the end there's a 3 second clip of Balrog giggling and playing with the puppies?

This has a minimal chance of being completed once, so if you're thinking about multiple parts, then I am sad to inform you that you are misguided.
So, What do you want this one-off to be? Serious and epic, or whatever you would call your idea?

Or a mixture of Serious-epicness with bits of hilarity thrown in at crucial times, if this is going to be a one-gig-thing.....

 

I actually think a humorous movie would be best, because it's hard to take action sequences in Flash seriously unless they're very well done. Can we do that? Well, it will be easier to do a funny one.

It looks like no one else cares about our Flash project. Probably because of all our bickering.

 

That was my other personality.
But really, I figured that cave Story is a serious game for the most part, so our movie should be serious for the most part.

 

If you like it, and it's not too much work for me (I know nothing about flash animation, but I could e.g. provide some image sheets with body parts and faces and all that that could be attached in the program, to increase the number of poses) I could perhaps help?

 

No, that would be useful. As long as they were done in Flash and not Paint.

 

Alright, instead of image sheets I would need a Flash document with all of the different body parts on it, arranged like an image sheet. But an actual image wouldn't work.

 

I ways actually planning to make a flash animation of Cave Story but using the Sprites from the PBMs, and I would make it ridiculous, such as having some random quotes from certain movies like the South park movie, dubbing Mahin as Cartman or something.

Or making a scene where Quote leaves to the Sand zone, the NPC's would make a party
in Arthurs house while Quote is just getting the puppies for Jenka. Even the doctor would join the party, and when Quote gets to the Storage, Balrog calls the required NPCS on his cell phone, to tell them to get to the Garden Storage. I don't know, but I was just thinking about that, but I never really wanted to make a flash about it.

And you could use image sheets in flash;
just copy and paste in the images, and press Ctrl + B.
The image will become editable, or you could make some sort of
stop-motion thing in Flash, it really depends.
