I'm pretty sure you have to be sexually interested in prepubescent children in order to be a pedophile. And there's no indication that Chaco's underage, especially to that degree (and she's not even human, but that just makes things weirder I guess).

Well to be fair Curly is actually robot of unknown age and we don't know her mind

And if we judge just for the body type, the "half-transformed" Sue (by the Doctor) seems more mature and that is showed more clear on the art at the credits by pixel.

And, to be even more specific, they're all fictional chars -and pretty unconventional/non-human ones at that- so I don't think normal real-world rules apply to this
As a sidenote, I never saw any "perverted" image about cavestory except maybe a single thumbnail in a google image search while I was looking for fanart, and it was, how d'you call it? Light ecchi that didnt show off anything I guess , so Caevstory if *on average* more community family friendly, and works like worm's one are rare on CS, partly because of forums like this that totally forbid it, I guess xD (lol)
