Cat Story

You play as Curly with cat ears that has woken up in a small cave with no recollection of her past.
Or is it a he? Or an it? I don't fuckin' know.

This is my first CS mod, so naturally there's gonna be some shit in it. Like, bugs and crap.

Bugs:

• One of the health refill stations doesn't work properly
• The boss ain't working right - no health bar and no defeat animation
• Unblocking the passage, entering the Shack, and leaving again will cause the passage to be blocked off again, making you reset
• Some of the TSC ain't finished, namely the Life Capsules not dissapearing when used

Aaaaand that's it.

 

Bugs:

More bugs:
- "What is this place?" always appear after triggered. You might want to add KEY at the event and delete it after triggered.
- Second Cold Cave background is black (doesn't dark blue)
- Fix to second life capsule: Delete the life capsule after interact.

ps: I Love the custom music.

Something I spotted was that the character's walking animation didn't bob up and down. Was this intentional?

yeah, that was intentional. Otherwise the ears wouldn't fit in.

I think I forgot a <DNP... shit, I'll fix that

 

there's no way to exit the boss room once you win. also the music doesn't stop when you finish the boss.

A few things:

-The script for Health Refilling is missing, so it just skips to the Save script.
-There's no flag to keep the "created passage" open, so if the player goes back into the shack to save again after opening it, they get stuck and must restart the game.

I love the music. This is great for a new mod. Good job.

Very nice for a first mod.
I liked the custom tile set and Ocarina of Time music.
There are a lot of bugs people have already mentioned.
Also, there are a lot of unnecessary files in the folder.

 

This reminds me of another mod...
