Captain Nathaniel Joseph Claw is the main character of a 1997 PC-exclusive sidescroller developed by Monolith Productions:
The game depicts various races of anthropomorphic creatures (predominantly dogs, wolves, and felines), and follows Captain Claw who is captured after having had his ship sunk. He finds a note hidden in his prison cell confirming a legend told to everyone when they were kittens about an amulet which, if united with nine gems, would grant its wearer great power and nine lives. Claw then escapes his cell and sets out to find these gems, directed by an incomplete map included with the note whose missing pieces he collects along his journey.
