• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

Can you save Booster? And if so... how? This guide leads me to believe it's possible, but doesn't go into any detail. Thanks.

When he falls down, ignore him. Save then run up and jump off of that red bit and you should make it to the other side.

Yea I actually tried this last night, figuring it might be the way to do it. I played up until he showed up in the village. However, I had to reload because I wasn't able to save Curly. I've figured it all out now though.

Um.... I'm pretty sure you can save Booster and Curly yet still take the easy ending.

Although, it may be implied that they die at the very end in such a case.

yeah of course you can do that, by not going in the prefab house. but im pretty sure no one would want to do that after going through the trouble of saving them

Well, it means that you can first take the easy ending, then reload, fight the bosses, and do the hard ending.

Unless finishing the game clears your saves?

It's more fun to playthrough the easy ending as the easy ending and the hard ending as the hard ending.

By that mean avoiding the secrets the first time and taking em the second.

The first time I played I heard about the spur and found out what you had to do the get the spur, one of them was saving booster, and I also did everything to save curly on my own. The thing is that I didn't know about hell then so I jumped off of the side of the island and got the normal ending. :p

When blocks that take off 1/5 of your HP rain from the sky and it's your first time you wanna get outta there as fast as you can. And I thought it was going to be one of those things like in metroid where you beat the final boss and you have a time limit to get out before the place explodes, well there wasn't a timer but I wasn't going to risk it. :D

Is it just me or does this seem to happen to everyone on their first play?
...
This one time, I was wandering throught the Labyrinth. And suddenly, I saw a purple critter on a platform and thought: "Launch Pad?". And I tried it, and I got the Arms Barrier. Then every time I tried from then on, I died.

I know you can stand on some monsters without being hurt (the big white horned things in the egg corridor for example), but I didn't think that was true of any of the critters?

The purple one does 2 Damage if you hit it just right.
But if you fuxxor up, it can do upto 8.
2 damage is not that bad, especially when it gives you an effective anti-deleveling shield.
Oh, on the mod side of things, you can make ANYTHING inert by checking the Call Event On Action Dialogue.

Edit: also, you can walk right through the Gravekeeper. Just be quick or POW! -10.

I don't think I can do modding at the moment.

Basically, while the sword is raised?

If you fall down and he gives you Booster v0.8, then you did find the body.
